About
This is Wavelength Swimwear - modern, skin-loving suits for longer torsos. Each piece is made of techno-fabric made from recycled yarn, keeping true to the brand’s promise of quality, sustainability, and excellent fit. Wavelength Swimwear also uses UPF 50+ fabric, which blocks 98% of the sun’s UV rays from settling into the skin. Trust that each Wavelength suit is thoughtfully-designed inspired by classic lines while taking into consideration its future impact, reducing its stake in the growing problem of waste in fashion.
Wavelength Swimwear is the brainchild of Whitney, a globetrotter and professional volleyball player. At 6'3, the journey to find the perfect one-piece swimsuit that’s equal parts stunning, and functional hasn’t been easy. Having personally experienced the need for beautiful, well fitting swimsuits perfectly made for tall women, Wavelength Swimwear was born.
Each suit is made for every dynamic, ambitious, long torso woman who is on the unceasing search for the perfect fit in her life.

A note from the founder:
Wavelength Swimwear began as a simple idea in 2016. The one-piece swimsuit was popular again, and I had this cool, little fashion blog. I wanted to be like so many of the other bloggers I saw and share a fashionable one-piece swimsuit.
But there was a problem... None of the swimsuits I found fit my torso length.
I wanted a one-piece swimsuit that still allowed me to feel like me, and feel confident in my body. I wasn't trying to cover up with a "miracle suit" design. I wanted to wear something that fit my aesthetic.
Why was it so hard to find something that looked good, with a simple cut and luxury fabric, AND fit my torso-length?
Little did I know, I'd need to thank my grandmother. She taught me to sew when I was young. I grew up altering my clothes and making new clothes to fit my height.
During this endless pursuit for a beautiful one-piece, a light bulb went off. I needed to make my own!
I knew that if I was having this issue, all the other tall ladies were struggling too.
To each of you out there that can relate to my story, I invite you on this journey.
There’s someone designing swimsuits that understands your struggles and appreciates you.
